Nice to meet you!

I’m Emily, Certified Online Business Manager (OBM), specializing in digital marketing technology.

I partner with successful business owners to help them get to an even greater level of success by taking daily business operations and team management off their plates. I do this by bringing reliable process, systems, automation, and effective team delegation to the table.

Below is a short story about how I got to this point.

I graduated with a Systems Engineering degree from the University of Arizona, and went to work for big companies like Hewlett Packard, Motorola, and Intel. I was pulled toward roles where I could talk with a person who had a problem to solve, come up with an idea for a solution to that problem, implement that solution with a team of really smart people, and measure the impact we made.

The solutions I created with my teams included either using an existing software tool, or building the software from scratch. I learned a lot about software systems this way.

I became known as someone who could translate business needs into technical solutions. This helped me land in leadership roles as my corporate career grew.

While I was thriving in these big companies, I was also becoming really curious about a different kind of life- that of the small business owner.

I had neighbors, friends, and family members that were running their own businesses, on their own terms.

One runs a salon, another runs a home inspection service, one designs and builds incredible backyards, another has a real estate business, and one sells custom automotive services online.

As they become experts in their craft, and their businesses grow to the bursting point, they all struggle to juggle the day-to-day activities and keep their team members doing the right things at the right times.

Small business owners need a reliable partner who will take control of the operations of their business, so they can trust that things are no longer falling through the cracks.

Once they have a stellar, reliable operations specialist in place, they’re free to focus on the things only THEY can do… and their business growth skyrockets.

I saw how much I could help these business owners using the project planning, software technology, process, systems, and team delegation skills I had built.

Helping small business owners quickly became all I wanted to do.

So I became certified by the IAOBM in Online Business Management, and founded Minerva Tree in 2019.

Now I work with clients that run small businesses, and some not-so-small businesses too.

I work on long-term retainers (6 months to 5+ years) that grow as my clients’ needs and business grow- every retainer is customized to each client.

Past clients have include 6- to 9-figure online course and membership creators, business coaches, and SAAS (software) business owners.
